Job Description:

LandWorks, Inc. is seeking an entry-level GIS Mapping Specialist to map and edit land parcels using ESRI ArcGIS software.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Geography or related field required
  • Above average Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities working independently and as a team player

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of basic land principles and property descriptions a definite plus

Physical Demands / Environmental Exposure:

  • Prolonged sitting for extended periods of time, and use of computer monitors, keyboard and mouse
  • Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying of items up to 11 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent sorting, filing, shelving and handling of documents, books, files, file drawers and related materials and equipment required for clerical operations
  • Work is performed indoors in a normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, air conditions and noise levels

Job Description

LandWorks, Inc. is seeking a motivated Land Record Analyst to complete a major Land project. Read files and understand land agreements in order to digitize them into our proprietary software for tracking.

 Requirements

  • 2 year Associates degree
  • Current knowledge of oil and gas is NOT required
  • Some knowledge of Right of Ways is useful
  • Skills Test to gauge data entry speed and accuracy will be required
  • Will also take an aptitude test to gauge compatibility with the role
  • The successful candidate will have a natural ability to focus on details, but not to the detriment of the big picture
  • Perform well under deadline pressures
